I remember

I remember the harsh words someone said to me; 
   got me dumbfounded, searching for a reply
I remember the question someone asked me
    which made me doubt myself and feel so afraid, all of a sudden.
I remember
    the promise I made to take a photo together on my graduation
    but Uncle isn't around to fulfil that wish anymore.
    I still feel like crying, a part of me dreads that day.
I remember what people wore
    it imprints in my memory what special event that day was, or not.
I remember the stories I hear
    I learn from Their experiences
I remember the wrongs Ive done.
    they live inside of me.
I remember my dreams
    of faces I've never seen in real life
    of things I might never have done in real life
    of words I never thought I would have said.
