가끔 가끔. Sometimes, just sometimes, the heart is still so childish. When I intentionally put my remaining water samples into the equipment to run despite the first few samples showing a negative (nil) reading which meant that I need not carry on the tests anymore. Because someone was using the equipment next to me and had chatted with me while we both waited for the equipment's response. Because I wanted to continue the small talks. Because its rare that strangers would talk to me first. A friendly stranger to everyone else in the lab. A stranger whose identity is mysterious but shared snippets of what he is up to at work... haha. Mysterious because... We don't know each others' names. And it might be the last time ever that I would have ever spoken with the stranger because I have completed all my lab analysis today.
And we bade goodbye.
