There's One good reason for Loving Raffles Place, that is I roam the Labyrinths of the underground tunnels at my own will, and i stroll pass the many monuments, admiring them.
I seriously do. I look upon the many memorial structures in awe, of the Great Heroes. and Yesterday, I walked One round around one such (less-known) monument to learn more about it, but inscribed was merely all the names of the heroic soldiers.
Then i reached an underpass and trailed a couple down, the new-found underpass to Esplanade!
and i walked up the smelly staircase, the new hidden exit to my riverside busstop!:)
I love exploring, I really do. If words can describe how intense this urge is to walk all around raffles place to discover new places like the supreme court, the old parliament house, the way to Central mall, City hall... and to Suntec Tower 1, where i got to rush there after work next Monday... (I'm gonna find a Better job!!!).
Oh yes, passing by all these monuments makes me imagnine how i would see the Collosseum, the St Peter's Basilica church in Rome - the iconic stone structural monuments that I desire to visit!
and yes!!!! the IR, omg!!! I'm telling you how proud i am of the IR! My one hour busride to and fro work allows me to watch its progress everyday like a painting.. With its construction lights on, its really a Magnificient sight to behold.
I'm so proud of tourists posing in fronta the Singapore Flyer and the backdrop of the IR snapping memorable pictures, chilling out onlooking the esplanade and the Merlion....
I'm so Proud of Singapore, if you know how much I enjoyed the Fireworks Festival at the Marina Bay floating platform with greeny gang 2 years back. I treasure the 2 uniquely Singapore RED t-shirts alot; Nope, i never wore it to bed!
Its... overwhelmingly beautiful, all of it! Do you know how this simple happiness feels?

Chilling out with dear friend JingJing yesterday at Marina Square!!! I didnt know chilling out can be so therapeutic... maybe its because of her innocent and candid character, we laughed so much about everything and every moment was filled with talks... We shared 2 bowls of dessert in the middle of the table, it didnt matter people looking at us (me) talk so loudly LOL... We changed so many tables to get the perfect view... The captivating night lights are still as mesmerising as ever.

Greeny pals, do you know that the spot where we sat on the ground at esplanade's rooftop has been taken over by a restaurant? :(

This time round, the buildings cast red neon lights onto the IR...:) its really pretty, and the night never seemed too late around the Esplanade, makes me wanna try clubbing!! haha.. even though knocking-off at 11pm from the restaurant, the streets were still bustling with life!

That's why I love it there- EVER! =)
and ever=)
